Another TCFC Player Makes the JCOE Cut

Turf City FC has continued to attract the attention of Singapore’s national football association (FAS) with the selection of goalkeeper Nicholas Black (U10/11) for the Junior Centre of Excellence (JCOE) academy.

Singapore’s elite youth national training programme, the JCOE targets the development of the U8 to U12 age groups.

Nicholas (pictured right, and below in green) started training with Turf City FC almost 2 years ago and has developed tremendously under the club’s coaching practices. This year, the Under 10 player has even been invited to play with the TCFC Under 11 side.

Now Nicholas, who has been training with FAS’ Goalkeeping Academy (GAS) since January 2017, will further benefit from training under the programme’s National Football Syllabus, which aims to provide players with the best global coaching practices and latest training techniques.

Nicholas joins Turf City FC ‘s Karan Sobti (U13), Asis Muhammad (U13) and Dani Qalish bin Mohamed Rahmat (U9) who are already with the JCOE.

We wish Nicholas and the other TCFC boys who are members of the JCOE the best of luck with his training and look forward to seeing the positive results on the field.
